Halaa

I participated in some Outland overland PvP yesterday. We got a raid of 10 people together and tried to take Halaa, the central town of Nagrand. The first part of that worked fine: The Alliance was unable to defend all 4 wyvern posts around Halaa all the time, and so we could do bombing runs to kill all 15 guards. But then we were stuck. Capturing Halaa works just like capturing other overland structures in Outland, you need to have more PvP flagged people there for a prolonged time than the other side. With Alliance outnumbering Horde 2:1 on my server that simply wasn't possible, and Halaa remained under Alliance control, like it is since the expansion came out.

That is insofar annoying as there are quest NPCs in Halaa, and that is the only place where you can hand in the Oshu'gun Crystal Powder to get Halaa Research Tokens. As the powder drops all over Nagrand, with my faction never in control of Halaa, many Horde players have that one stacked up to the limit of 100 in their inventory, unable to use it. There is a range of specific Nagrand PvP rewards you can buy for a mix of Halaa battle tokens and research tokens, including a new type of mount, the Talbuk.
